No voltage anywhere that is a key on source. I swapped out every relay in the fuse block..I have two XJ's so I tried that and fuses yesterday. It is possible a mouse got in there and chewed up something, that's another thing i will check tonight. That actually makes more since since it just happened out of the blue.

If it starts than disconnect it, and if it dies when disconnected there is your problem.

Engine block ground.....

Well we worked on it for a couple hours last night but couldn't find the problem. We had 12.5 volts showing on the diagnostic machine he had from snap on at the plug so we "figured" the switch was bad. Once we replaced it we tested it with a test light and it would not light up. We found out we weren't getting power that would carry a load. We messed with it for a while longer and it got dark so we loaded it up on the trailer and he took it home to work on it today. He called and said the main power wire going through the bulkhead connector in the firewall had rotted out and this is what caused the issue. He is bypassing the connector since its rotted and hopefully it will be up and running soon. I'll give an update when and if this is truly the issue. Thanks again for the insight.

Well that fixed it...it's back up and going. Now have to install the trans cooler, longer rear shocks, and new center pin on drivers side I just noticed was broken as well and then I'm off to windrock tomorrow. Wonder how much I'll destroy there??? LOL
