I found this the other day I asked a question, on that thread,no answer as yet.
So I am asking again. I used that hammer trick, it worked, now blue is home. I looked in my Haynes manual, for ignition lock cylinder replacement. Seems easier in '97 and later models. It was mentioned in that article, that a tamper proof torx was used to attach the lock assy, anyone know what size tamper proof torx was used?(I don't want to buy a whole set for one bit)
I need to get this done ASAP blue is my daily driver.
In the other thread, it was mentioned that some silicone spray, or WD40 was used with good success, where do I need to apply that spray?

I have a dealer in the town where I work, but they like their sister dealer here, have been known, to tell people that there is a major oil leak on "your vehicle", and would cost a bunch of money to fix it, when in actuality it was only a cracked washer fluid reservoir.
So I have a huge trust issue with them.
