Ignition Circuit Problem -please help!
'98 XJ will not start. Here's what I've tested: Battery's good (new), starter and solenoid are good, ignition switch is good, neutral position switch is good. The problem is somewhere in the ignition control circuit, somewhere between the fuse block in the passenger kick panel and the power distribution center. No power is getting to the starter relay control when the ignition is cranked. I get power at the fuse block but it doesn't make it to the relay. There is also a faint clicking sound coming from somewhere, I can't tell exactly where, in the passenger foot well when I turn the ignition to start (and it does so regardless of whether the ignition and starter fuses[ [#9 & 10] are in). Any one have any idea what the problem is and how to fix it? Thanks.
