Default IGN Wire in the fuse panel???

ok, long story short i ****ed up and on my fuse panel under the dash i unplugged the wire that connects into the slot marked (IGN) to get my gauge fuse to work without popping immedietly. My question is what does that wire do? and where does it lead to?

This is all I have handy. Its for A DIFFERENT RENIX JEEP. I'm not at all sure what they might share. Seems right for my 90.
