If your having idle issues...

Check your serpentine belt. Mine was loose, and the alternator wasn't charging the battery right. This was causing an irregular idle for me.

Good to know, i'll check mine since mine is making a little noise and the engine is idling around 1,000 rpm's.

Or you could check the common things that cause low/high/rough idle.

Besides the fact that the motor doesn't run off the battery... it runs off the alternator after start up.
