no way to adjust it.
If it's idling too low, and you've already addressed a possible bad IAC, your looking at either a malfunctioning Throttle Position Sensor (TPS) or Crankshaft Position Sensor (CPS/CKPS). The TPS can be tested using a multimeter fairly accurately (do a search for the procedure) - I would do this first.

500 rpm is now very low. mine idles at 500 to 400 rpm regularly with no problems ever. I have had it idle at 250 rpm but that is if Itap the throttle a certain way (so the computer is fooled and lets it drop real low) What year is your jeep and what trans does it have auto or manual? also Do you have any codes?
How do i test the the fuel pressure? and i will deff get under there with the multi meter and test the tps.
Its a 96 auto trans. with a code (or two) and its baby diahrrea green.
My gf and i both have cherokees and im trying to keep hers alive. Shes loud and rough and getting worse so i appreciate all the help i can get....the jeep that is.

I set my idle to about 500, some think it low, lopes along just fine summer or winter. As there is no useable adjust screw I tweak the flange corner on the throttle mechanism with an adjustable wrench to pry it, don't get rammy, a small tweak goes a long way. If only the "idle screw" wasn't locktited in by the factory to protect us from ourselves.

mechanical fuel pressure gauge attached to the schrader valve on the fuel rail. Most auto parts stores will rent them.
