Default Idle Issues

When i start my jeep it will idle fine for about 10 minutes but when the engine starts to get warm it starts idling higher. I have replaced IAC twice thinking maybe i got a bad IAC but surely 3 in a row werent bad. I have replaced the TPS also. When i pull my IAC out of the throttle body it is pulled all the way back into its housing everytime. so i think my question is what actually controls and monitors the IAC? i think that is where my problem is coming from....

M.A.P. sensor could be at fault as it does help control the idle

Your TPS sends information to you ECU wich in turn (based on only a few factors) controls your IAC.

I have had similar issues with vacuum leaks. As the engine heats up the metals expand making small vacuum leak noticeable. This is usually an intake related vacuum leak.

Your speed sensor and map sensors also take a roll on how your computer calculates idle control. I belive that the speed sensor is not a factor when parked but dont quote me on that.

My XJ reacts with high idle on even the smallest vacuum leak.
