idle between 100-500 rpm. crappy!
i have a 96 Cherokee with the H0 4.0 motor.
Every time i start the vehicle and accelerate (once on the main road about 200 yards) my jeep will cut out. and pulse and get real jerky. the only thing that seems to stop the jerk is if i up shift a gear or even two. and accelerate from there. this only happens after the first minute or so after taking off.
my second problem which i believe to be related is a very poor idle. at first it will be at around 1k but after a few seconds it will drop and the light will dim, almost stalling out but it has yet to stall out completely.(very embarrassing at the bank or drive threw) some times it almost seems like i got a really really big cam.
today i ran the codes. they cam back as p0123, p0132, p0135.
i replaced the tps today with no avail. as a final note i have cleaned the throttle body.
also i do not have a catalytic con.

Most likely your IAC (Idle Air Control) it's on your throttle body. It controls and maintains a good idle. Mine crapped out and it would die out when I held the RPM at about 1500 and then let go. You can clean it and prolong the problem but you are probably gonna have to replace it

You can clean IAC and throttle body and see if it's getting any better. Maybe the spring on the TB may require adjustment, you can tighten a little bit and see if it helps. I remember it requires a T-20 tho..

From the codes it sounds like you could have a wiring harness short or ground problem. Get under there and look for chewed or melted bits. Drop by the writeup forum section and look for cruiser54's Mostly Renix Tips. Follow the on on ground freshening.
Also, running without a cat is illegal, and discussion of such is against the forum rules. Do the smart thing and pick up a cheap high-flow converter. Performance Curve has a Thunderbolt one for $50 or so.
If the PO removed the cat I would definitely suspect wiring problems.
