idle air controal
The idle air control sets on the throttle body on the left side as you face the windshield. It is held in with two small torexs bolt. It is located right next to the TPS. It has a clip that goes directly into the IAC. Remove the bolts and replace. I just did mine the other day....did not fix the problem so I need to move on to the next item.

Before replacing it, check the IAC with a Volt/Ohm meter. You can get the specs. from the Internet or Haynes manual. Much better than throwing a lot of parts at the vehicle and hoping for a fix!

I had a warm stalling problem on a 5.0l mustang recently. Would start & idle fine until it was shut off. On a warm restart it would continually stall for the 1st 5 minutes then be OK-bizarre.
Finally found info, removed the IAC & soaked it with throttle body cleaner. Idles wonderfully all the time now, not bad for almost 250,000 miles! Price was right on that fix.
