Default Ideas about a 96 TPS

My jeep attempts to turn over, but doesnt.
If i give it some gas it will stay on till i relase the pedal then it will stall.
I have never had to deal with a Throttle position sensor, but i assume it is.

Can anyone confirm/deny that it is my tps?

Thanks

its possible its tht tps. Could also be map sensor or crank sensor. Your fuel pump could be going bad as well there is alot you need to check into unless you just plan on swapping parts till it runs good

Throttle position sensor is a primary suspect. But also be sure your battery is up to snuff. A marginal battery can give you similar symptoms. Any parts store will load test your battery for you for free.

My opinion is it's likely the IAC (Idle Air Control) valve. If it's stuck or clogged, it can't open up to keep the idle speed up where it belongs.

Alright I'll check that out.

Also my keep works fine untill it warms up, or is warm out.
