You should think about a weekend trip up to mountainside ORP on Sept 18th. I would love too see that stroker in action. There are a few guy on here planning on attending.

If i woulda fired them down, it would hit way harder, but the butts of the subs would stick out. And it slamms now as it is. The cargo area of the box is created by running the top of the speaker box all the way to the back of the jeep in the shape of the cargo bin. Then you just have to have a Face on the rear most part of the box for support and the drawer. I put 2 inner supports running parallel with the jeep front to back and tied them in to the sub box and the face. Then on the left side I made a small box and attatched it from the inside and made a lid. That is where my stinger goes. I re-enforced a crossmember where the hi-lift mounts went and glued all the seams together in the inside. carpeted it and pushed it in. Very snug fit.
VERY important. When woring with MDF, always pre-drill your holes and use low ratio wood screws for tighter hold.
sounds complicated guess ill just have to wait for the pics

Bravo man. That box in back is functional, secure, and looks great, like something you'd see in a Quadratech mag. Curious, what and where is your amplifier?

Those wheels compliment your red XJ beautifully. Nice work!

Thanks for the props bruh!!!
I have 3 sony "mini" amps under the back seat. They are about the size of a big bible. 1 for the highs/mids and 2 mono 600's for the subs.

Well you have a lift and bigger tires so that effects the 0-60 but i dont see how it matters when your in a cherokee lol Its not meant for the strip its meant for climbing up trees lol Well not literaly but you get my point

I really like the storage box. You definitely have good wood working skills.

Thanks for the props guys. I took 4 years of whood shop and cabinet making in highschool. It really isn't much harder than building a bookshelf. You just have to engineer the shape and be able to build it outside the jeep. Wood is a decent talent of mine. Unfortunately welding is not. I try and try, but I can't seem to understand the bead...

I have considdered trying to mass produce them. Or 1or 2 a month, but I would have a ton of issue shipping them. Another bugger is that the top piece drops in last. It is essentially essembled to fit.

Gimmie some time and I'll try to lay out some of the specs and put together a drawing or two to help y'all build your own. The cool thing is that you can adjust the height of the box to what you want. You could even do 2 drawers if you were willing to sacrafice more trunk space.

Oh ya... If I was going to do it over I would not use speaker box covering. It's waaay too fiberous and almost impossible to vaccum dirt out of. I'm a little bit og a clean freak and that material is not compatable.
