I went looking for a radiator for my jeep, one with a cap on it so I can convert it and get rid of my coolant jug. I got a aluminum radiator with two electric fans on it for $30!!! It is out of an altima I think. But it will work with a little modification and I tested it, both fans work!!! I might have to start making a weekly trip to the junkyard!!!

You have got to let us know how the install goes and what mods you have to make. If all goes well and it cools properly then we need a write up. My 91 runs hot all the time and the only thing I have not replaced is the rad and its on my to do list.

 

well bad news time, it wont work, to tall and not enough room to allow it to drop lower.so I ended up keeping it and am going to try and use the fans off of it and at least get rid of my engine driven fan. We will see!!

 

Thats a bummer. good luck next time. My best score was a tranny for my 89 blazer. I found a 700r4 that had 10 months left on its 12 month warranty from being rebuilt. The guy gave it to me for 150, and he pulled it. I was a happy camper that day.
