Ok well I am a 15 year old soon to be 16 on june 15 and I recently bought my 99 jeep Cherokee. It has 190k on it and when i bought it a month ago it started, ran, and drove awesome but now it is very hard to start and when i do manage to get it started it will die if i dont give it a little gas for a few seconds. I just changed the crank position sensor last night (very tight spot to wrench!) and it did improve the starting a lot but it still is very hard to start but only when it is warm. I was thinkin maybe the o2 sensors?? I dont know if this matters but I just put in a new alternator and battery so its not that it doesnt have enough cranking power it just doesnt want to fire up and when it does it wants to die?? what do you guys think? o2 sensors??

oh ya i forgot that i also removed the throttle body and aic and cleaned them both with throttle body cleaner

 

10-4 sounds like the 02 sensor,change it out and you should be good,wouldnt hurt to change your fuel filter while your at it,gud luck man.
