Default I need help!!

I have a 89 jeep wagoneer. It was running I parked it now it will not start! It runs only if I keep the key in the start position! So I put a new ignition switch in it, and checked my relays, and my neutral safety switch and I put in new spark plug wirers and a new starter! any ideas why it runs only if the starter is running the hole time?

It only runs if your cranking the starter? Once its started can you gas it up and hold the pedal down to keep feeding it gas?

you changed just the tumbler? the swithch is actualy in the colum and i think you can adjust that so it changes the position of start, and open circuit.
