Hi Jeepers, I have a 91 cherokee with a np 231 transfercase and i replacer the rear seal 2 times in the last 2 days and its still leaking. I followed the book to the T. I was wondering if anyone had this problem and can help me out. thx

If it still has a slip yolk, there is a guide bushing inside the tailhouse.
It's actually a bronze bushing, & if it is badly worn it can allow enough wobble to wipe out the seal pretty quick.
