Ok, well I made a stupid mistake and now im paying for it. I had to jump the jeep the other day and accidentally reversed the jumper cables. Now the Jeep wont start. The starter kicks in but there is no ignition. Odometer reads "no bus" and "check engine" light is on. I have done days of research and trouble shooting trying to find the problem. I have not checked for codes because I cannot communicate with the computer

What I have checked-
-all cables leading to computer from battery(cleaning, replacing, tightening, checking with meter)
-all fuses
-Replaced Crank position sensor
-fuel
-spark plugs
-I am not receiving any power to the ignition coil
-The only gauge working is the oil pressure gauge.
-All lights and accessories work

Everything seems to be narrowing down to the computer. Any thoughts or suggestions?

Specs- 99 Jeep Cherokee sport, auto, I-6, 4.0

*I found a ECM on ebay for around $70 picked out of a 99 xj junker. Im not going to bother getting it flashed, I just want to get this running right now.

 

Sure sounds like the computer is toast.

Get that salvage yard computer in there and cross your fingers!
