Default I just did a projector/Bixenon 6000k upgrade.

I enjoy the whole swap. I just don't understand why my HID's stay on once I turn them on.If the car is off, I can turn them both on and off. Once it is running, I can turn all of the lights off EXCEPT the HID's. I don't think this is normal. Is anyone familiar with this problem? Thanks.

You wired them wrong. Sounds like you have them hooked into a line that is always hot when the engine is on.

I so was expecting that. Sorry. I just posted this from my phone. I tried taking a picture on my phone but the quality is trash. I most definitely will though. Thats what I figured though.

First I bought the 7x6 conversion Projector fixtures. I believe they ran me about $25 shipped. When you get any of these conversion Headlights they come with a little blue bulb in the bottom, well what I did was swap the bulb for anAmber bulb and tap it in to my tuning signal. So now when Im signaling that little bulb reflects in the whole housing. I bought the Xentec BiXenon 6000k kit and they look great. The kit ran me about $65 which also was a plug and play kit. I have them adjusted perfectly. Im not blinding anyone at all. I havent noticed anyone adjusting their mirrors and one of my good friends drives a bagged Silverado on 22' rims and I dont even bother him. I get an easy 20" clear visibility. I enjoy my headlights every day.

Also,

I thought the same, but the way the BiXenon kit works is that it has a relay pack that plugs into the headlight closest to the battery and has a whip that runs into the other headlight and there is an inline fuse that runs to the battery. It is a fail-safe install. Im still trying to figure it out. It seems its only with the BiXenon kits. Regular HID's have individual ballasts that plug into each headlight. I just had to have High Beams. I will post some pictures.

Got any pictures of light output? I am interested to see what it looks like. Thanks!

Also interested in this. I would LOVE HIDs in my XJ. I've had them in the last two cars I've owned, and currently have a kit on my GSXR.

I also wouldnt mind seeing some better pics of the truck with the headlights. Im afraid that the crystal clear/diamond headlights might look to tacky....im very picky haha.

Agreed! I would love to have HIDs on my XJ. It would be weird for me though because I have two sets of KC Hilites that are halogens so my light output would be multi colored lol Also great to hear there's more Suzuki riders on this page! I own a Suzuki quad right now, I'm planning on getting a GSXR soon though!

Go with the 750, quite a bit more punch than the 600, but on the same frame so it's smaller and lighter than the 1000.

Do you use the Hilites as driving lights? If not, you can HID them and just use them as flood lamps. Or get HID-match bulbs, not 100% a match but pretty close. Sylvana makes some decent ones.
