Default i have an idea

alright so my dads got a really sweet 69 camaro, but, the old hood has a fiberglass rivet on 2in cowl intake, and he just wants to toss the hood cuz its cut up real crappy, so, im thinkin buy a jy hood and make a sweet cowl induction hood for my jeep. i think it would look pretty sweet too. but i could go for more airflow in the engine bay, especially the cooler air. does anyone know how much a hood would be approximately? seems kind of hard to find. i know its gonna be a while before i can afford a hood or have the time to finish that but just a thought. also, would primer black on white be alright or too ricey? comments welcome! haha

Can't you just be carefull and use the hood you already have? Then use some satin black paint with a flex agent to paint the Fiberglass so it matches your trim?

well my hood would work just fine but i want to do it on a spare one incase i dont like it or i mess the paint up or something. good call on the flex agent, and my trim is like a dark gray charcoal color, i think it would look alright if the hood was white still and the hood scoop was the trim color. i was just gonna go all black to be lazy haha
