OK I hate electrical...

'97 XJ Sport

I have a airbag light on, no horn, no cruise controls, no windshield washers.. All of these are in the steering wheel.

Hazards, wipers and turn signals do work..

Where do I start and what could be the issue?

I would suspect the clockspring for the airbag light on, no horn, no cruise controls, but not the windshield washers (I would think).

I don't think it would get unplugged on its own. The wires in the clockspring could be severed.

I'm trying to think of a way you could troubleshoot the thing being you suck at electrical.....

If you have a 1997 FSM you could read how to remove the clockspring and inspect the wiring once its removed.

I'm also willing to bet clock spring, the wipers might be their own little issue.

Pull the code for the airbag and see what it is, if it's a connection issue for the drivers airbag, there's your answer.

Where did you get that '96 FSM? Those are so rare they make hen's teeth look as common as roadside gravel.

You can get a pdf FSM at Pacific Coast Manuals for $7.95.

Definitely a clock spring issue. You'll have to pull the steering wheel. Watch the clips when you pull it out. They're ****in brittle
