with that much added power, more then double the factory 190 HP, im almost sure you would have to upgrade every part of that drive train to handle that much more power/torque........

heavier axles, maybe even a better tranny.........

what im saying is, the price may be what it is, but after you make the jeep to be able to handle that kinda power, you're going to have a lot more money into it

I am always up for making more power. turbo power is great because it is free power, but the only draw back is turbo lag.. it takes high rpm's for the turbo to spool up. So depending on what you want to do with your jeep, its not the smartest decison to go with a turbo set up (unless you plan on drag racing it). You could try to maybe stroke your motor or maybe even a supercharger system although i dont know if they make one for the 4.0 thats just my opinion.

turbo's have no power till they spool.. they dont spool till a higher rpm... so playing on rocks and stuff there no good... super chargers have constant power... so does pretty much everything else other then a turbo... great for street use... but i would want everything else built first so it doesnt tare up...

if you plan on putting that in id recomend rebuilding your motor cause that thing running 25lbs of boost will destroy your motor i would look into a stroker kit good power and youl have the power all the way through the power band not just at high rpms

I've done the turbo thing, and I didn't like it. If you want an upgrade like that then you will throw the bottom end out under the added power to a stock little engine. If you do it take pics

I'd recommend a good ole V8 if you want power and torque. That way you have all V8 stuff. Then you biuld atleast D44 at the least.

We aren't ricers, turbos go on ricers. That's my opinion, but I also know a bad A 67 Chevelle with twin turbos.
