OP, don't do it man, I spent 2 years studying turbo systems before I attempted to put together a "budget/custom" system and still ran into a lot of problems; I'm lucky I didn't grenade that motor. I've learned so much since then and I can say its a hard road to take. Unless you're prepared to throw a few thousand at it to do it right, I respectfully suggest you don't do it.

Are you sure its "good"? I wouldn't put it on a vehicle without checking shaft play and inspecting it thoroughly. Another thing, is it even a good turbo for a 4.0L? Have you looked at the compressor map? This is the problem you see with all the Honda guys, they take massive turbo's and run them below their efficiency curves...Knowing what pressure ratios you'll run and how the 4.0 will take it is very important for a forced induction setup...

Is it ball bearing or journal?

I'd love to have two supercharged vehicles. Curious as to why he has a BOV though. With an Eaton blower like that it should have a bypass valve (checked build thread and it does) to regulate boost pressure. Funny he also put an underdrive pulley on which with a supercharger actually lowers boost levels.
Bonded together where? I've seen that usually they're journal bearing and they pass oil easily. Plus there isn't any literature on the compressor performance, and its just dumb to put a random *** turbo on an engine without calculating what its actually going to do... BOV's are a good component to have on a Supercharged system b/c you're still producing boost on decel; remember its belt driven... Underdrive pulley's will only reduce boost if they are a different size; making a pulley lighter weight won't change the ratio increase through pulley size.

Turbo systems are really complected systems to put together and they require a lot of attention to detail... If you really want to go forced induction, you need to look into a centrifugal supercharger. No complex manifolds, and with low enough boost pressures you can run a J pipe. I'm a Rotrex supercharger OEM and I'm currently working to develop a system for my 97 5 speed Cherokee. I'm planning on a low pressure system with a water-air intercooler but I'm still doing research on a stand alone ECU. If you haven't dealt with designing a custom system at least make sure you have a back up vehicle to get to work; haha!

Here is the turbo setup I put together for my 240sx; see what I mean about complicated manifold/exhaust... If anyone is curious, the black is actually a ceramic coating and its about as effective as header wrap.

Here is a screen shot of the stand alone I've got on my 240sx

I went with a 4.9 Titan Stroker upgrake for my XJ and i can take a musdang off the line. The 0-40 torque is incredible.

from what the guy said is that he made it. yah it seem fun but thats something id put onto a "new" 4.0L mine would become many little parts quickly if i were to install that on mine. and as far as i understand them underdrive pullys are a wast of time and money they are only good for higher rpm's and with normal every day driveing it will cause the water pump alternater and other things just wont have the rpm's they need to opperate the way they need to

Just a lil fyi, to pull you want torque. Torque is what moves a car or truck. To be honest you sounds like you knowledge on engine is fairly limited. My advice would be take a step back. Do alot of research on the forums and get a solid idea of what everything does and what would work best for you. You'll save your self a ton of time, headache and money.
