as you may have seen in my thread, I have and frequently use my Hella 700FF driving lights. The other day the rain then fog was so bad even with them I had a hard time seeing...
SO time to upgrade the bulbs!
they came with 55 watt bulbs, I just put in 100 watt bulbs (also from Hella) and OMG WTF!!!
It's hard to explain how much brighter they are now, saying they are 2 or even 4 times brighter does not do any justice.
Same thing goes for pictures... I probably took 25 before and after pictures to show the difference and as cameras just don't do well at night and with lights.
But here is the one picture that I think might show how much light is thrown.
If you are thinking the heat would be a factor, due to the size of the 700FF the heat is dissipated very quickly and do not feel any warmer then the 55 watt bulbs that where in there.

I emailed the man and he says everything is solid. heres what his email says: Chris, Great questions. Yes its 4 Wheel Drive and the transmission works great. Tires are Good Year Wrangler and have been fairly recently purchased. They have a great deal of life ahead of them. No funny noises. Paints in great shape as is the overall body. I would say IF you wanted to put discretionary dollars into the Jeep I would say a set of shocks.
Here's the deal. I'm a Dad of two sons. I purchased his vehicle for them and am a safety nut. I took the vehicle to Chrysler after we purchased it and had them go through the vehicle. I am sure I paid too much but they went through the car and did whatever they thought needed to be done. It has been extremely reliable. We simply don't need the vehicle anymore as my sons are in and out of college.
I would be happy to discuss this or if you desire to take it for a ride let me know. I can be reached at...
Okay any input?

Oh yeah.. almost forgot!
I picked this up at the junk yard for $1.50
Thought I might be able to get the stock keyless doors setup. One a very few options not on my XJ.
What else would I need to get this to work?
Key fob,
wiring, I hear it might already be wired just not plugged in?
Sensor to pick up the key fob's signal.

not the greatest picture I've taken...
Just entered in to Louisiana, and took a break to check out the XJ and the bathrooms lol
All was well, time for some sleep and then to the water for some Yak fishing!
Btw, getting a solid 19 mpg... wish it was 20 so I could do the math easier :P
