I bought a 99 XJ, lots of questions...
What problems did you have with the harness?
The distribution of light is almost spot on, what lamp housings are you using? The color temperature looks like it changed to a cooler white (which can be perceived as brighter without actually being brighter). Try again to take your after pics at roughly the same time as the before pics. That way we're comparing apples to apples.

as for the time I took the pictures, it was less then an hour apart.
The lighting is clearer, whiter and brighter and at the distance the beams were hitting the ground it appears to be a cooler kelvin in the pictures, but really isn't.
The bulbs are Sylvania Performance Sealed Beam Headlights, They were on the Jeep when I bough it... Until 10 mins ago I thought they were plain old stock ones ( I never looked before)

Not many cleaned up pictures... But all three new Orings, and even wire wheeled the adapter to a nice shine
Yeah that T60 torx bit was really really tight!
Not a bad job to do, if you got a leak- fix it.
Here is the tools I used:

Hey Rob, would you be interested in testing some codes on your ScanGauge for say oil pressure and transmission fluid temp or any other ones you would like?
You can email Linear Logic and tell them you would be interested in testing codes for them. Right now they don't offer them but if we show interest and maybe create a demand for them they will try and figure it out. They would then send is the codes to set up our own X-Gauge for them.
I saw this on a Tacoma forum and they were able to get a few new gauges programed that way.
I emailed them this morning but will have to wait to hear back from them on Monday since they are closed.

you can send your stuff into this and they'll send you your stock specs back. (along with the gearing) which is what basslicks was talking about, but without going into the dealership

Awesome link. Sent my info and got an email in less than 30 mins with all the goodies (or lack there of) that were installed on my xj.
