I bought a 2001 Jeep Sport. Many people say it's better than the Grand in maintinance.

Your going to hear mixed views on that question, a lot of it is preference. Personally I favor the XJ over the GC's maintenance wise because the XJ has less electronics. But again many will have a wide variety of opinions on the matter.
