Default Hunting for 8.25 axle in Dallas area...

Just as title says, anyone know of a good place? found one for 350 with under 100k. I need 3.55 gears, no ABS. 350 just sounds a little steep to me.
I don't want anything special, just stock rear end, going on a DD.

Exactly...But if that is the only thing I can find, it may have to do... I have found a few on other forums for around 120 but freight is 250, so it makes more sence to get the one for 350.
I was hoping someone knew of a good jeep yard around the east texas region.

You did better than me. I've called from Corsicana to Tyler to Dallas and never found one for less than $450. Mine's a DD and weekend warrior too. I know the D35 ain't the best axle but I figure it'll last me till I luck up on a better axle at a reasonable price.

I've actually had better luck out of my d35 than my 8.25. The d35 has split an axle shaft, but thats cheap and easy. The 8.25 just went to hell though, cheaper to get a new one than rebuild the old one thouh.
I have over 300k on the d35 and only 200k on the 8.25 ...

To bad your not in TN, there is a 95 and a 96 on the local Pull A Part lot with 8.25s under them. You can pull them yourself drum to drum for $100.

Wow... If I only had the spare time, that would be worth the drive/gas.

I'm wondering if the folks running the junk yards around here don't have a crack habit to pay for.
Been calling around about a passenger quarter panel window. I can get one for $50, get one off ebay for $40 and see if Oops can get it here in one piece Or have a glass place replace it for me for $90.
With me not knowing jack s%*# about replacing a window guess what I'm leaning towards
