Hi, while swapping my hubs the front axle shaft accidentally popped out a bit too far, I pushed it back in but a trickle of oil came out.
Will it re-seal? if not how bad have I F'd this up and what will I need to do?

OK great, there's a bit of fluid that came out I'll keep an eye on it to see if it keeps leaking.
I read all the guides I can find and some videos with a couple different methods of getting the darn thing off. The first one popped off just fine the second I've spent the past 2 hours messing with it unsuccessfully.
Does the 3" extension method work on older xj's?

Sorry to double post, after more research I believe I was doing the extension method incorrectly. Thanks for the help everyone.
edit: didn't see the edit button too late.
