howling rear diff - dana35
Hi,
My dana35 is howling under load, mostly it goes away on coast, from reading on here it sounds like a classic case of pinion bearings. I have already done the wheel bearings so its not that. Before i go and spend to get this done, at a shop, i heard one guy say he just tightened up the pinion yoke nut a fraction and the howling went away. Does it make sense that that could work? Has anyone else tried it?
Thanks
