So i have a friend who bought a jeep but failed to notice all the roaches inside. So basically i banned him from parking his jeep anywhere near my house but he asked how to get rid of them. In my cases you cant get "rid" of german roaches you only control them. But id like to hear if any of you guys had any luck with ridding your cars of the little bastards. Been in many apartments and they will never go away unless you burn the entire complex down and restart lol. I was thinking a german roach fogger and then this gel stuff you apply by syringe around the car and under the seats. Be careful with a 450 dollar jeep that needs "some work" or this may happen or any furniture basically.

Clean the hell out of it so that they don't have any food attracting them. Then put an ozone generator in it for a couple of hours. The roaches will leave. Any roaches that try to stay will die. I would do this at the end of a long extension cord, out away from any buildings.

How to Kill German Roaches

Try Boric Acid I have used this at our first house we bought in 1974 it worked.
Below is information from https://pestsoff.com/
Roaches crawl through the boric acid powder and the tiny particles cling on to their bodies. When they clean their bodies by licking themselves clean, they ingest the boric acid (which acts as a stomach poison). They die shortly after.

when you go to his house and see the jeep completely stripped out and you ask where everything is and he took it a few miles away to a riverbank for them to run away...... for the most part tho the smell is gone and the bare body looks to be roach free so he may just get new carpets and see if he can get every roach out of the interior bits. He went so far as to literally strip the dash to nothing and pieces of it scattered and the seats disassembled and the spare tire too lol.

If your where its cold, that will kill roaches,
most climates in America are actully to cold in the winter for them to live.
Will freeze to death.
Remember they have to have water like anything else and will die out if they can't get water, so make sure your not leaving anything they can drink in the car too.
why not just remove the back seat, and drop a bug bomb or a couple inside and close the doors.
Might want to unhook the battery so there isn't a random stray spark.

I realize you meant not to leave anything they can drink in the car, but the first time I read it I thought you were saying not to leave the keys in it so the thirsty roaches could drive somewhere to get a beverage.

He did bug bomb the ever living **** out of it. They still remain, Tried various known bug killers, foggers and the latter. I suspect the fogger didnt work because the door seals are bad and the bug killers didnt work either because the po might of used them and they were resistant to them now. He loves the jeep already but he has to get rid of them quick if he planned on making it his daily. It is in decent shape if you ignore the bug infestation but it came from a home that was disgusting.

This is actually a big problem with older vehicles here in the south. The number one thing they LOVE to live in is that jute padding underneath the carpet. Seat foam, yes but not as much as the carpet backing. rip it all out. The seats, you can spray and kill them. Coat seats heavy in bug killer, put seats inside large, black trash bag, tie shut and leave in the sun for a day or two. The heat and spray will kill them as well. Just like you would with bedbugs.

Yea, the only way you are gettin htem all is to gut the interior, dash included. The HVAC box is probably full of them anyways.
Strip everything out of the interior, pressure wash it, and bake it in the sun (black contractor grade garbage bags as stated). And maybe do some voodoo/witchcraft or call the local rodent/bug removal guys and have them spray the hell out of the interior.
Then pressure wash the inside out and call it good

I was going to say pulling out every piece of interior, carpet included, is the only way. I'm sure if you look around you can probably find all natural remedies to repel them. Peppermint oil will keep rats and mice away. They can't stand the smell. After the hurricane here last year they left the trees and went for cars. I had a nest in my rear bumper, and another inside a car that sat. Luckily they didn't chew any wires in my vehicle. My dad's Tacoma wasn't so lucky. Had to have $4000 worth of wiring harness replaced.
Ultimately you have to starve them. That seems to be one of the top solutions for pest control. If there's food they'll always come back. The problem is I know some roaches will eat weird things like glue. They might be able to sustain themselves on the underside of the carpet with that padding, whatever it is. That's just an idea, you'll have to investigate to figure it out.
Here's a site that lists some remedies and mint oil is one of them:
