Default Howling noise after u-joint replacement

Can anyone share some insight to this type of noise on my 2001 jeep cherokee limited? Has 225k on motor and tranny bought it 6 months ago and this noise is loud as hell when hitting speeds of approximately 50mph. I replaced u joints with Spicer 1310x joints, both seals are leaking one on the tail shaft of the tranny and on the rear diff. Any information to help figure this out would be greatly appreciated. I've never tackled a rear diff rebuild and don't have the funds to take it to a shop. Not sure what is in rear-end but all stock jeep. No modifications done to it at all.

The loud noise I had in my xj was the pinon bearing in the rear end . they are not that hard to change , there are videos on how to do it . but to check it you need to lift it off the ground and unbolt the drive shaft and hold on to the yoke and turn it and feel if the bearing is smooth and does the yoke feel loose . drain the gear oil and look to see if it has metal in it .

If they are taken care of with occasional oil changes differentials are pretty hardy.
I'd just swap in a JY pull.

That's the problem with fixing one noise - the others see to chime in.

well I'm new to the jeep world and have been rebuilding this thing little by little and going to be changing oil in it today, before work. So hopefully it's nothing major bc it's my DD. Hopefully nothing other than some small issues otherwise I am up a creek without a way down

I know this is an old post but change the damn pinion bearing before it fails and take out a freshly rebuilt drive shaft with it..
