How to replace cracked dash cap on XJ ?

2000 Limited Cherokee

top dash is cracked, where are tabs and screws to lift off top ?

replacing with another like this

I see slots on front & rear but not on sides.

Anyone replace their top ? Hard to believe I'm only one with a cracked up dash top on this forum.

the top dash pad you speak off if i remember right just pulls away. It has a number of "pop slots" that just press in place..... just be a man and take the F***** apart

Good to know.
Its cracked in dozen pieces like a walnut, not best look now, pieces squeek like a baby bird stuck inside vents.

I saw a brushed suede cap cover for $50, but the dash squeeks are driving me insane (Pun intended)

Definately going to yank it out like the "Resturant Impossible" chef Robert that takes a heavy sledge to people's family diner decor.
