I have a 3" Rough Country lift on my jeep right now and I'm deciding on what size tires to get, 31s or 32s.
I want to keep the trimming down to a minimum, not really that good with stuff like that, and it would just be easier without having to trim anything at all, but 32s would be nice.
Let me know what you guys think!

I have around 5.5 inches of lift with 32's and I don't need to trim but it would help. You would need to trim a good amount with 3 inches of lift.

I've heard that you don't need to do any trimming for 31s on a 3 inch lift...is this true?Originally Posted by Joies

Why did bossenator say that he has 3.5" lift with 31s and they rub?Originally Posted by Joies
31's would be fine with 3 inches. You wouldn't be required to trim to make it work.

his could rub because of his rims if they are not offset they will rub on the control arms i run a 4" lift with 33" tires my fenders are cut 2" and i have bump stops so they stop flexing right at my fenders

yes. add some bumpstops and trim about 1-2" and relocate your flares up. i ran 4.5 w/34x10.50 no rub. i was able to keep my stock flares too.
