How many litres of oil do the gear box and 4X4 box in a 2000 Jeep Cherokee Sport have? Exactly?

I know the 4x4 box (or the transfer case as it's called) takes just over a quart. So buy 2 quarts and you'll be good to go.

I don't know the capacity of the gear box

Mine took like almost 2 quarts brand new tcase so right around there, if you're draining and refilling it should take like a quart and a half

When I drained mine about 1 quart came out, to fill again it took just over 1 quart, so about 1.5 litres?

I believe the AW4 takes 8.5 (8L)-8.9 (8.4L) quarts with rebuild, 3-4 quarts (2.8L-3.8L) if you just pull the pan.
