How many splines on my 88xj output?

Default How many splines on my 88xj output?

Hey guys I was hoping someone here would know how many splines the out put shaft of my auto tranny has in my 88xj. Thanks in advance. It's a 4.0. If you need any other info let me know

Should be 21.

It's not easy to count when a transferase is attached to it! It's not even possible.

the output shaft sticks out the back of the t case i thought. Maybe im mistaken. the input shaft connects to the tranny.

As my first post stated I need the spline count of the output shaft of the tranny. Unless I am wrong the output of the trans and the output of the tcase are different.

87 to 90 should be 21 spline, 91 and later 23 spline.
