My '99 has 146K and my '92 has 210K. Unfortunately the '92 was formerly owned by a dingleberry and at most has had about 5 oil changes in it's life I'm guessing. When I got it I had to change the oil 3 times in a span of 1000 miles to get it clear. At least the black chunks in the valve cover are finally going away now. But the oil pressure is a tad low when hot (Rotella 15w 40 too). Heck, it still runs smooooth and has amazing pickup on those interstate on-ramps.
It's my winter XJ. My '99 isn't allowed to see snow. It's too purdy.

I'm so worried about wrecking mine, I get a little paranoid sometimes.
I just got news back on the tranny whine, they say I have a worn out bearing that's the cause of the noise, but it *shouldn't* be a problem; they say the tranny *should* be fine indefinitely, just noisy. I also have a slow leak on the line going from my tranny to my transfer case, worn seal.

291k on the Jeep including axels and trans, Junkyard motor with 95k put it this year
::Edit:: Just noticed they bumped this from a few months ago, still a good post
