Default How to Install pushrods without them falling inside engine

After replacing head on 4.0 and reinstalling pushrods, and without installing the rocker arms yet, two of the push rods seem to fall off the lifter and drop down inside the engine. This happens when I turn the crank. How do I prevent this?
Thanks,

Why are you turning the crank with pushrods in and rockers not installed yet?

I was checking to see that everything operated, "smoothly." Will installing the rockers hold the bottom of the pushrod in place on the lifter?

Without the push rods and rockers there is nothing else there in the head to operate "smoothly". Those are the only moving parts. Your question is a bit concerning.

Yeah. Maybe he should have it transported to a real mechanic before something really serious happens.
