How hard are 4.0 motor swaps?

I just thought it was a rod bearing because when i changed my oil yesterday, the sound is a little different now. It actually sounds worse now!!!

I checked the Torque convertor bolts... I havent checked the belt Acessories... havent done the header down pipe. what goes wrong with that? Or the tranny mounts?

the pipe gets bent and will knock
just remove the drive belt to check the power steering pump and accessories if the knock stops with the belt off the you know it not a rod

is that the engine mount bolt holes on the block or just the mounts themselves.
Would they have gone to all that trouble to make 2 different castings of the same engine for 2 different (Barely) vehicles?
