Default How to fix broken hing, dont replace upgrade!

So thought I would post pictures of the process of fixing my broken top hinge on my driver door. Notice the spackle welds from the previous owner, the door has never set straight and I never bothered to fix it till it broke off in the parking lot of work the other day.. lol enjoy. I almost think it looks better without the fender, what do you guys think?

looks good, now all you need to do is cut the bottom part of the hinge off and you got removable doors!

That will be done in the near future. More worried about painting it at the moment. And getting my hands on an ax15. I cant handle the 3tone paint. lol

there you go, its pretty straight forward if you have a pre-96 cherokee. i used a sawzall, a hammer, and grinder, along with the torx to remove the doors. they aren't that hard to align if you just take your time. i havent had any problems with mine at all and it only took me a day to do. but i take forever to do anything, so id probably say a few hours it could be done.

the main cause of hinge failure is the hinge hits on itself before door stop comes into play to solve this issue cut off hinge here until it no longer hits ...
