Default How do you Reset your Computer?

I have done quite a few mods and i'm not seeing a lot of improvement. Also after adding these mods when i'm in neutral i get some rough popping sounds because of uncombusted fuel in my cat (I think). So i figure i should just reset my computer. I have heard many ways but what is the proper way to do it?

Disconnecting the battery terminals for a few minutes is about the only safe way that I can think of.

The way I have heard is to disconnect your battery for 1/2 uhr and then turn the lights on, or press the horn and re-connect.

X2 on disconnecting the battery. when you reconnect the terminals and start it up the first time, let it idle and get up to normal operating temperature without you touching the accelerator or doing anything else: just let it run on its own. when it gets to temp, shut it off, and you should be alright from there.

no, you don't have to let it sit for 30 min disconnected, and you don't have to press any button or flip any switches. once you cut power form the battery, everything will be disconnected and non-functioning, so doing anything else will not effect the restart.
