How do you know if your exhaust manifold is cracked?

Default How do you know if your exhaust manifold is cracked?
i was curious as to what would happen if my exhaust manifold happen to be cracked?, would i smell something? any type of sound? thanks in advance

Use a dollar bill around the manifold itself..dollar bill starts flapping, you have some sort of force causing it to move, i.e. a crack!

Shine a flashlight down the header where it bolts to the pipe, most cracks can be visually verified fairly easily.

Mine weren't because the manifold was faked with mud plus they happened in a place on the primarys not easily seen with the intake manifold on.
