X2 on the hidden killswich wether its on the fuel or baterey or both just make sure its hidden.

I lost the key for my club and it took me all of 10 seconds to make one cut through the stearing wheal and yank it off.

If you're gonna do some sort of kill switch, it would be cool to rig it up to a factory style switch, like a fog light switch of something. Just blend it in so they can't figure it out.

whenever i go into detroit, what i do is i pop the hood and take out the cable from the ignition coil to the distributor. worked one time when i was getting out of Joe Louis Arena after a Red Wings game. this moron and a few of his buddies were trying to hot wire it, and you'd think when they realized i was standing outside the window tapping on the glass they thought they saw a ghost. caught one, my buddy ran down another (track superstar), but the other two got away. took the city po-po another hour and a half before they got to the parking structure to take these kids.

My xj has the stock deal where there is a chip in the key and its not supposed to start without a signal from that chip... anyone know how well that really works?

Homing beacon:

or (but more dough)
http://www.landairsea.com/downloads/downloads-8100.htmlEjection Seat:
Pull the airbag out of a junkyard steering wheel, stuff it inside the driver's seat to fire straight up and rig it to a remote switch like this:

I bet it would be even better if the rotten thief had his seat belt on. You've got an excellent attitude about it Fish Hunter; I'd be transforming into the hulk if someone stole my xj. Seriously though, I bet that GPS tracking system would even give you an insurance discount. I parked on a random street one night for cheap parking at a concert, completely forgot where I parked. I left my iPhone in my XJ, located it with MobileMe.com service, and I remember the feeling of being able to locate my Jeep on Google Earth. Technology these days.

i got these on both my trucks ones a cheaper autopage got for 30bucks
the others a viper i got for 40bucks both have a page back so if some ones messing with it you can either have it siren and also your remote will start beeping or vibrating you can also run turn the siren off so there breaking in and no siren while the remote is telling you some ones breaking in and catch them in the act and use your gun to handle the rest

http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_...-N+5301V-.html

i also have a camera from harbor frieght 30bucks with night vision and sound had an old 13inch tv with built in vcr i attached it to
got the kill switch just on my starter it came like that but they sell the switch for 10bucks at autozone dont really care if its there or not either way if they touch the truck siren goes off if they try to disable it or even disconnect the battery it will still be going off on my remote next to my bed in which case im already out there with the pistol probably my neighbor too he always gos out thinking its his going off if they want it and can get away with it there going to take it either way pages back on the remote up to a mile on both i believe

Mine is two tone primer black and purple, with a cracked front windshield. After the third stereo was stolen...I stopped putting stereos in the rig. The inside looks like a mobile rat hotel most days...I find that the grime and detrium keeps most thieves at bay...
