I have a 1991 XJ. Im pretty sure its a later model because it does not seem to have the vacuum disconnect. 89-95 with ABS have 5-297x U joints. 95+ have 5-297x U joints, and others have 5-260x U joints. I just want to know if I have ABS so I can determine my U joint size.

Thank you in advance

On a 91 with ABS there will not be a vacuum assist brake booster, it will have the Bendix 9 ABS system with an accumulator and motor. A quick way to tell if you have ABS would be to look for the ABS light to come on for a bulb check when you first turn the key on.

Then look where bbasso said on the later models I believe it is right next to the brake booster. Or you could get a build sheet and that'll tell you everything!
