how do i take off my driveshaft

ok so im new to mechanics and im scared to f up my jeep. Can anybody tell me how to get off my driveshaft pics are apreciated thanks

The rear one or the front one?

Sorry no pics... Your rear driveshaft is secured by 4,5/16th" bolts and 2 straps that hold the ujoint onto the rear yolk.Remove the bolts and straps then use a deadblow or mallet top pop the ujoints free from the rearend.Becarfull not to let the caps fall off of the ujoints unless you plan to replace them.Hope this helps.

Takes about 10 minutes if you don't have to hunt for tools.

if youre taking out the rear, put some grease on the slip yoke before reinstalling.

block rear wheels some fluid will come out at the tc case use small pan remove the 4 bolts and slowly pry the joint from the yoke be carful not to let the caps fall off off the joint and slide it from the tc your done
