Hair dryer, rubber scraper/ rubber razor blade and maybe a little degreaser. Just apply some heat and scrape it all off

Most people use a rubber wheel on a grinder. Use a flat razor to take as much off as possible then use the rubber wheel to finish up. Works great. You should be done with it all in a half hour.

That 20 year old 3M double sided tape will be a royal pain to get off. Goo Gone helps, a plastic scraper helps, the rubber wheel in a drill helps, but be careful not to burn the paint with the rubber wheel, keep it moving.

Heat gun and a rag took it off easily

What about 3M Adhesive Remover? Says it's ok for paint.

I soak a rag in acetone, hold it in the infected area for a minor so, the scrap with a sharp plastic scraper. Comes off in no time.

Not sure if it was acetone, but I used a laquor thinner for a BIG PINK DECAL on one of my trucks.

Decal was prolly red once. But faded. So heat gun and gentle pulling until the decal was gone, then laquor thinner for the goo.

Doesn't acetone eat paint really fast?
