a: weld nuts on the out side and drill holes biger for the bolts
b: ur idea

supposed to be a direct bolt on but I can find where mine is a direct bolt on either.

theres holes there but no way to put nuts on rrrg

Ya it wasnt until after I posted that I realized it was a horrible idea. You may have to cut into your unibody to fish that bolt through there. I cant think of any other way.

what about weld anexternal nut and drill the exsisting holes bigger and bolt it up?

Default

nutserts were used from the factory and can be picked up at any good hardware store.

tap them into factory holes and when you tighten the bolt it will pinch the framerails

How do you feed the nutserts in the framerail?

They go in and are compressed into place with a tool that comes in the kit. Kind of expensive but with a unibody it pays off in the long run.

Just added to the last post.
I've got the smaller set but have used the larger nutserts too. They are a little harder and the hole being perfectly round helps the nutsert to get a good bite into the sheetmetal so it doesnt spin. Tacking sometimes helps if you have the time and the welder. Let me know if you want in more info.
