My main question is though, do i need anything else or just try to push the tranny line to the radiator (because it wont *click* on) or do i need a 'connector' to connect the two together. Thanks guys for the help not a very good week on my wallet ive spent atleast a hundred this week on tranny fluid cuz the old line kept coming off..

Should just be able to to slide the proper ID hose right over the lines on the radiator. Or you could buy a transmission cooler (should come with the hose and hose clamps) and not use the radiator trans cooler.

I hacked the hard lines right below the passenger side motor mount and used the included hose to run the transmission cooler, works much better than the radiator cooler.

There is an internal spring clip that holds the line, sounds like yours may be gone. Do you have a barb you can clamp the line to?

Spread the teeth "slightly" to see if it will grab, but I still wonder why the original hose blew off?

This is my concern. They are supposed to just push together. You need a tool to get them off, not on. Show us a pic of the end on the rad if you can. It may be damaged.

I really dont know how the old one came off I was driving, started smelling tranny fluid and when I would accelerate I wouldnt move like it just stalled out. Its to dark out to post a pic of mine, it doesnt seem damaged at all i got a small metal tube with the ring around it on my radiator. My old tranny line was crap.

Good to hear. Now do you see why we were all confused when you were asking about a tool? Then it is working right, they are easy to connect.
