Yeah they are notorious for going out. I replaced my slave cyl not too long ago. It was pretty simple. You will need one buddy to help you on the inside of the jeep while you work on the outside with those 2 bolts.
The most tricky and time consuming thing I found with mine was removing the stupid steel hose. It was partly stripped and it is soft metal I stripped it even more. It eventually came off with a set of vice grips and some elbow grease.

I don't see how to bleed it... or, remove the line, or anything to that effect...

remove the roll pin with a small punch, fill the slave, reattach to the line, take cap off master incase of overflow, push slave plunger in bolt to the trans pump the pedal slowly a few times, reinstall the master cylinder cap and it should work

well...
after all that, it started chattering...
turns out the clutch is plain done... giant pile of "bird feathers" in the bell...
new stock clutch going in (flywheel/tob/pb...)

I appriciate the link... however, I'm on the road all week, and have no intention of laying in the garage the 2 days I'm home (nor would my wife likely "allow" it .)
