how to check if i am getting spark?
Pull one of the plugs and reattach it to the plug wire. Holding the plug by the wire boot, touch the spark end of the plug to a ground (bolt, engine block, etc.) and crank the engine. There should be a bright blue/white snapping spark at the electrode.

Air is not good, unless you have an empty tank. Try to cycle the key on/off a few times in "RUN" without starting and check the shrader valve again for fuel. Sounds like the pump is trying.

got to the parts store and rent yourself a fuel pressure gauge, connect to the shrader and test the pressure. Sounds like your fuel pump has given up. If your hearing the pump it's not a fuse.
Try bypassing the ballast resistor. It's a ceramic thing bolted to the inside of your fender next to the air box. Just disconnect the two wires going to it, connect them to each other and start.
