You will need:
-Phillips screwdriver
-Sylvania 74 bulb
-Flashlight (recommended)

1) Unscrew the 4 screws holding the bezel in. Two at the top of the gauge cluster, one above cigarette lighter, one above headlight switch.
2) Pull off U-shaped plastic trim below steering column.
3) Pull the bezel out. Comes out very easily and pops in easily as well. Check that it isn’t catching on the steering column.
4) Unscrew the three screws holding the clock in. Two where the clock meets the cigarette lighter and one at the top of the clock (this is where the flashlight comes in handy).
5) Pull the clock out. There should be plenty of wire that you don’t need to disconnect the connector.
6) Turn the black plastic bulb housing about 1/8 turn counterclockwise. Pull the housing straight out.
7) Pull out old bulb, push in new bulb.
8) Put bulb and housing back into the hole. The two gold pins should be perpendicular to the two silver conductive metal strips. Turn 1/8 clockwise.
9) Installation can be a little tricky. In my Jeep, the top screw hole was slightly overlapped by some trim leather fabric overhanging. This made the clearance between the top of the clock and the hanging leather very tight. Fortunately, the clock compartment is sealed so if you drop the screw, it won’t disappear. I recommend putting the clock in place, screwing in the top screw partially just to prevent it from falling out, then sliding the clock up so that the two bottom screw holes are lined up. Screw in the bottom screws and then screw in the top screw.
