How can I remove the sport stickers on my new XJ?

Default How can I remove the sport stickers on my new XJ?

Any ideas? I imagine there are many members who have successfully accomplished this!

if it is a emblem you might be able to use dental floss to take it off, if its a sticker maybe peal it off and use goof off to get the sticky crap off. my friend took his emblems off with dental floss. if it is a sticker and you use goof off im not to sure how it will react to the paint. sorry i cant be of more help

Use a heat gun to soften the adhesive and pull it off starting at one corner. A hair dryer may work on high. Clean the residual glue with WD-40.

I toom all mine off when I painted mine but since I didn't care about the old paint they came off with a scraper, I took the glue off with gun solvent if that helps though.

heat gun + goo gone + elbow grease = no more gay purple sticker & no f'ed up paint.
