mine usually runs about 180 while I am driving and close to 200 while I am sitting idle.

humm, i wish that were the case for me. I have never been able to run under 210.

Same here. 210-215 is my norm. I'm cutting big holes in my hood this spring so hopefully that'll bring it down maybe...1 degree.

I have those as well, 2 Vents on my hood, which release a lot of heat. I can see it while I am sitting still.

My XJ also runs a bit hot, I live in AZ near Gila Bend and I am constantly worried about my Radiator, Always seems to run between 210 and the dreaded red line.. I am considering a High flow water pump and making a cutstom Fan set up. Does anyone know of a Good 10" Puller Fan? I am gonna fab up a shroud with three of them in it if I can figure out a part number or a Car I can scavenge them off of...
